Winton 360 2013 Sunday Team and around Track

Sunday provided another great day overcast but dry once again plenty of action with all categories with another two races for the Super V8 boys, Porsche, Aussie Cars,Formula Fords and Dunlop Series V8s also had races. Plenty of cars going off infield spraying up water and mud couple of good spin offs near us Race starts and first lap provided many a crash.

Winton 360 2013 Saturday and Sunday

Saturday was a much nicer day with the sun out and some different people on point we were ready for our first day of racing. And it did not disappoint with turn 4 still getting a lot of action and 2 didn't miss out either with some awesome smashes with the Aussie Cars providing the best one of the event with a big pile up into the wall opposite turn 2 and we had a great view from out point. Sorry no photos of racing due to media restrictions while on point working. But have a few of Cars coming off while on a break.

WINTON 360 August 23rd to 25th 2013

Well what a three days started wet with drizzle on and off all day Friday to a sunny Saturday and a overcast but dry Sunday. Was Senior on point part of my upgrade worked point 1 and 0.5 which includes Blend line and Stationary blue for pit exit. Friday had plenty of Red flag action due to wet track and a very wet infield between turn 11 and 12 provided plenty of action with cars getting stuck and turn 4 also had many a driver Parking their cars.

VMRC round 2 Winton Raceway July 6&7 2013

This was a cold foggy w/end good racing delayed start due to heavy fog was at turn 10 and was moved to turn 4 Sunday afternoon to help out another flagger didn't get many photos this w/end. Ten can be a busy turn lots of cars running wide or going down runoff due to late breaking good view right across racetrack so you can see 100% of track Turn 4 can also get busy its on a small straight after turn 3 so it all can go wrong at three and end up at four. Categories included Production Touring Cars,Porsche 944,Vic V8s,PRB Clubmans,Sports Sedans,Pulsar Challenge,BMW E30 & Invited,Super TT/MX5/Miniature Races. Well looked after again by Winton Raceway great team of Marshall's.

Shannon's Nationals RD4 Winton Raceway June 22&23

2nd of Shannon's round in Victoria cold but fine w/end categories included Kumho V8 Touring Cars,Suzuki Swift Racing Series,Aust saloon Car Series,Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge. Worked at point 7 called the Tank due to it being a metal Bunker and all the other Bunkers are cement this is a great spot on a hair pin plenty of action I think I ended up with about 12 reports for the two days lol some good spin outs and a couple of head'ons a lot of this happened one after another so had 3 reports going at once so was kept busy need to be alert all the time here. Great lunch provided by Winton hot roast beef rolls yum.
