This w/end was rd 4 of vscrc I was only able to work the Sunday due to other commitments but got my grade 3 upgrade with VFT so now Bronze Level with CAMS. Categories were HQ's, MGs,Saloon Cars,Porsche 944,Sport Sedans,Sport Cars,Formula Ford,Formula V,Historic Muscle and Improved Production.I was assigned to Start/Fin with
Julio La Monica the day started off with light drizzle and improved to a nice warm afternoon which is good for the Island. Start/Fin a good spot to see the cars flat out down the straight and coming up pit lane. First event provided us with a good spin out on wet track started near 12 traveled a good distance on the grass before resuming and later another spin off between us and 1.0 again returning to the track. We also had a major incident late morning and would like to thank the great support we get from our club VFT and the Chaplin and others its good to know you have help if you need it when you witness anything like this Myself and Julio were fine Im quite used to seeing this type of thing but it can affect everyone differently and I would encourage anyone who involved in this sport to always talk with others about these things. So my Thoughts go out to that Driver and Family at the time of this post,Thats all i have to say about it........ enjoy the photos.
